Accessibility Statement
Draft for review, to be confirmed before the website goes live.
This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA. Accessibility matters here in particular: people often arrive at a therapy website when they are tired, distressed or in a hurry.
What has been done
Pages use ordinary headings and landmarks, text can be resized and reflowed, colour contrast is checked against the AA thresholds, every control can be reached and operated with a keyboard, focus is always visible, images carry meaningful alternative text, form fields have visible labels and errors are announced in text rather than by colour alone. Motion is minimal and respects a reduced-motion preference.
Known limitations
The photographs on the site are existing images and are of limited resolution; they may look soft on very large screens. Formal testing with assistive technology will be completed before launch and this statement updated with the results.
