Clear fees, a regular weekly time where possible, and a free 15-minute conversation before anything begins.

All fees are shown and payable in pounds sterling. The website does not collect or process payments. If you are outside the UK, your bank or payment provider determines any local-currency conversion and may apply conversion or international-payment fees.
Cancellations
Please provide at least seven days' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange a session. The full session fee is payable when fewer than seven days' notice is given.
Where sessions take place
The consulting room is in York, about ten minutes' drive from York station, and is convenient for the surrounding areas. Parking is straightforward. The full address is given to you when your first appointment is arranged. Online sessions take place by video.
Frequency and length of work
Sessions are usually weekly, at the same time where that can be arranged. Counselling and psychotherapy work to their own pace and rhythm, so the length of the work varies: anything from a short piece of focused work to a longer-term commitment. We decide together and review as we go.
Payment
Fees are payable in pounds sterling and arranged directly with Pia. The website does not collect or process payments, and no card or bank details should ever be sent through the enquiry form.
