Online therapy
Working together online
Online psychotherapy is available to adults and couples in the UK and internationally. Suitability and availability will be confirmed during the initial enquiry.
Online sessions are the same length and fee as sessions in the consulting room, and the work itself is much the same. For many people it is simply more practical: no travel, easier to fit around work or caring responsibilities, and possible to continue if you move or travel.
Sessions take place by video at an agreed time. Details of how to join are given when your appointment is arranged.
Online work is not right for everyone or for every difficulty. We will talk about this during the free 15-minute consultation, and I will say honestly if I think another form of support would serve you better.
What you will need
- A private space where you will not be overheard or interrupted
- A reasonably stable internet connection
- A device with a camera and microphone, or headphones if that helps privacy
- The same 50 or 60 minutes set aside, without other commitments
If you are outside the UK
All fees are shown and payable in pounds sterling. The website does not collect or process payments. If you are outside the UK, your bank or payment provider determines any local-currency conversion and may apply conversion or international-payment fees.
Please also consider the time difference: sessions are arranged in UK time. Local emergency and crisis services differ by country, and I would encourage you to know what is available where you are.
Ask about online sessions
Send an enquiry saying where you are based and what you are looking for, and Pia will confirm suitability and availability personally.
